Which Xero plan do I need? 01
Any active Xero subscription works — Early, Growing, or Established. The integration uses Xero's standard Accounting API which is available on all paid plans. You'll need an admin or standard user role in your Xero organisation.
Is my Xero financial data secure? 02
Yes. We connect via Xero's official OAuth 2.0 flow — we never see your password. We only request the scopes needed: contacts and transactions. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can revoke access from Xero's Connected Apps settings at any time. Read our full privacy policy.
Does it work with existing Xero contacts and invoices? 03
Yes. On first connect, we sync your existing Xero contacts into Attio. Existing invoices are not imported retroactively — the sync starts from the moment you connect. Any new invoice created via the app will be tracked from creation.
What happens if my Attio deal has no contact email? 04
You'll see an error prompt asking you to add a contact email before creating an invoice. Xero requires a contact to attach an invoice to — so you'll need at least a name and email on the associated person record in Attio.
What happens after my 14-day trial ends? 05
You'll be prompted to choose a plan. If you don't upgrade, the sync pauses — no data is deleted from Attio or Xero. Your existing invoices and contacts remain exactly where they are. You can resume at any time by subscribing.
Can I use this if I have multiple Xero organisations? 06
Currently one Xero organisation per Attio workspace. If you need multi-org support, get in touch — it's on the roadmap.
